I will miss Aunt Olga deeply. Some of my fondest memories growing up were spending most of summer vacations at Aunt Olgas' and Uncle Johns' house. We would travel from Florida with mom and dad to stay at grandma and grandpa's house but my brother Stan and sister Pam would spend the majority of our time with Aunt Olga. Our snack before bed was usually a bowl of Captain Crunch or some similar sweet tweet. Aunt Olga was more of a mother to me than my own Mother which may be sad to say but is quite a tribute to my favorite Aunt. It is also sad that families seem to grow apart rather than come together and stay in touch with each other. Since I have lived in the South, the word family seems to have an altogether different meaning than it does in the North and since my wife is from the South we have two major family reunions a year with her family. My e mail address is posted and anyone that feels the urge is welcome to respond. I have been anxious to try and put a family tree together of my family on my Mother's side but it has been difficult putting the puzzle together. There must be one heck of a reunion going on in heaven with Aunt Olga, Uncle John, Uncle Tom and Aunt Doris, my dad Stanton Parsons and my two sisters, Pam and Nola not to mention Ann Maye and Bill Russell and any others that I have failed to mention. God Bless.
