Olga Kubacka's Obituary
Olga L. Kubacka, 95, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late John Kubacka, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Kazimer "Jack" and Marya (Hocaluke) Laskow. Olga and her husband owned and operated the Singer Sewing Center on Main St. in Stafford Springs for 20 years. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and Ladies Guild, the Stafford Senior Center, the Golden Tones, and was a volunteer for many years at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Olga is survived by her daughter, Shirley Russell; son-in-law, Robert Brozek; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Parson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ann M. Brozek; son-in-law, William Russell; and brother and his wife, Thomas and Doris Laskow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High Street, Stafford Springs, CT.
