Dear Jennifer and family, I am so sorry for your loss! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My heart goes out to all of Pete's family and loved ones. He was a very good and generous man, and a wonderful father, husband, and friend. His passing will leave a great void in their lives. I pray that God will comfort all in their grief and give them the hope that they will not be separated forever.
My most heartfelt condolences, Melinda Scarbrough

Pete’s passing beyond a doubt will be felt far and wide by so many. When I met Pete 20 plus years ago, I knew I met a man of integrity just by his handshake. He was very kind to so many; I mentioned to him that I would like a cargo box like they have in police SUVs for all my tools. He called one afternoon and asked me to stop over at the house; I was shocked when I pulled in and saw a cargo box on sawhorses in the garage. Without asking, he went and built one for me, that is just how Pete was. The stories are endless, and I will hold them close forever, it was my pleasure to call you friend and an honor to call you, my mentor. Rest easy my friend, you will not be forgotten.
