At BMC Pathology, we all used to joke about "Ralph and Richard"--I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Otto's passing...What a wonderful, kind and funny man your husband was...and so compassionate. He always spoke fondly of his farm in "Onion"!!! I will really miss him, and please know that he and your family are in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Dr Otto, a man I greatly admired. He was truly a great human being with so many accomplishments. His guidance to an impressionable teenager helped mold me into the person I am today. Dr Otto was integrity personified. I will miss him greatly. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
Mr. Otto is one of only a few men that led by his actions and not by mere words. For those who were fortunate to know him understood that he was passionate about keeping this earth as pristine as possible. He used his time, hard work, and money to renovate the entire farm back to its original state. Further, he gave large swaths of land to the Nature Conservancy in order to keep the land and ponds pristine for future generations to enjoy and that nary a tree be felled. He set a high standard that others can only hope to follow. I will miss him and with a heavy heart offer my condolence to the family.

To the entire Otto family I am deeply sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Otto. I have fond memories of playing football, hockey and hanging out in my younger days at your home. Everyday I now drive by and enjoy the beautiful stone walls Mr. Otto restored. Our hearts are with you in this time of sorrow.
