Monie will be missed by my family big time!! We would always be there come spring time to cut the hay in the back fields and my kids just loved her. She always had ice cream and soda for when we finished the fields and I always brought her books to read and we would have coffee and talk for hours..WE will miss your smiling face and your warm hugs every time we saw you...God has you now and we all know that you will always smile down on all of us ..We love you and miss you Monie!!!
The Chenard family
Aunt Monie, Gave all us kids our first cup of coffee, although it was more milk and sugar than coffee we thought it was really special. At Christmas time she always came to the garage with our Christmas package of all the fudge, cookies and cake assortment that we couldn't wait to arrive. The endless stories of dad and his brothers when the where little kids, Heard every story a thousand times ,and I'd listen to a thousand more. At Halloween, my kids couldn't wait to trick or treat at the farm, and get their yearly popcorn ball. She lived a simple life ,a basic lifestyle the most people could ever imagine. What made her happy was a wood shed full of wood, the coffee pot perkin on the stove, and family to drink it with. It's goin to be strange driving by and not see smoke out of the chimney. We are goin to miss you!
Monie was my great, great aunt. I visited her every week and we would always have lots of fun. In the spring we would pick flowers and collect sticks for the fire. She would always make food for us - usually pancakes or eggs. We would play hide and go seek in her house. She was a great person and one of my best friends. I'm heartbroken and will miss her so much!

Ramona and my Mom, Sadie Urda, had a close friendship for many years up until my Mom's passing in 1995. They and some friends from the button shop had a "sewing circle". (They really didn't sew! Just talked and had pastry and coffee!) I remember Ramona had a hearty laugh and how much everyone enjoyed her personality when it was my Mom's turn to host. My Mom's favorite flavor was maple walnut and Ramona would make her a maple walnut cake every year for her birthday. It was so good! Ramona was a dear and loving friend and enriched my mother's life for many years. I hope they will meet again in Heaven and arrange another "sewing circle" with all the friends who are now deceased. My sympathy to you all.
Sincerely, Patty (Urda) Thompson O'Brien
Monie will always be remembered as one of our most favorite Aunts. You could never stop to see her when she didn't always give the best compliments. Her favorite thing to
say was "what would I do without all my kids" better yet what will we do without Auntie Monie. She was always there for all of us. We will never forget her famous maple walnut
cake. Even though Dick and I will not be there for her services we will be there with our hearts and we will be mourning with all of you. We will miss you Auntie Monie and will
never forget you Rest in peace we love you always.
Ginny and Dickie

I will always remember the card games and the 4th of July picnics. Her laugh and demeanor would light up the room. Aunt Monie would say to anybody around “that’s my godson you know” “he’s my boy”. I can remember going to play cards with her and Uncle Dick. Yukie would sit in the rocking chair with her feet in the wood stove and Aunt Monie making sure she was warm enough. Anybody was welcome at her house for coffee and food and conversation, which in our case was how we were all doing and remembrances. We will miss her!!
