My favortie memories were going to work with Dad at the Colotina and singing to the oldies at the top of our lungs, teaching me all about rythm and if I was going to dance I had to stop and listen to the music, teaching me how to drive because mom freaked out constantly, painting a rock in our yard white (still have no idea why) but its still standing tall at the old house, comforting me during my break up with Dan..still rememer his words, " Hunny, don't worry he will be knocking on our door tomorrow after he realizes how stupid he was, pulling in the drive way and hearing Gloria Estafen blasting through the windows of the house and Dad dancing while doing dishes or making dinner, the many times he would sing "DAY-O" out of the blue, the day I came home and he had dyed his hair and mustache JET black, weekends when Cindy, Jeff, Brian, and Ricky would come up- we always had the best time sitting around the camp fire and the only time I really had an amazing breakfast, Cin's homefries were the best!
I've always had a love for Elvis for my 14th birhday Dad put a live size Elvis in the shower to scare the crap out of me. He thought he was cute ha! Anyone who knew him probably has their own nickname too. He never called anyone by their real name- when I had friends over they always left with a new name and my favorite name was for my son Matthew.. Dad always called him "OPIE"
Miss you Daddy o - go rest high in paradise <3
