Richard B. Tautic Sr.'s Obituary
Richard B. Tautic, Sr., 73, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away at home on March 6, 2018. He was born on April 24, 1944 in Hartford, CT son of the late Frank and Helen (Pasha) Tautic, and grew up in Windsor, CT. Richard enjoyed hunting deer, going fishing, riding motorcycles, and watching boxing. His greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends. He was employed by Pepsi Co in Windsor, CT for 23 years, and then moved to the Mountain Lakes region of New Hampshire where he worked for Colatina Bakery and ultimately retired from the State of Vermont. Richard's quick witted humor and bright smile was a treasure to all who knew him. Richard leaves his children, Cynthia Tautic and her partner Jan Mack of Manchester, CT, Richard B. Tautic, Jr. and his partner Debra Wright of Thetford, VT, Brian Tautic and his wife Mary of Stafford Springs, CT, and Jeffrey Tautic and his wife Christine of West Suffield, CT; sister, Gail Handley of Windsor, CT and her two children; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Jesse, Zachary, Renee, Rachel, and Jack; a great grandson, Travis; two step children, Megan Jock and John Winot of New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his former wife and friend, Susan Tautic and her partner Charles Settino of East Hartford, CT. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Tautic, Sr.; and sister, Barbara Burke. Family and friends are welcomed to gather for calling hours on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 12-2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
