Robert A. Forziati's Obituary
Robert A. Forziati, 72, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Born in Springfield, MA, Bob was the son of the late Benjamin and Marion (Petscke) Forziati. He was a longtime resident of Stafford Springs and proudly retired from United Technologies, where he worked as an assembler.
Bob was a member of the Rockville Fish and Game Club and was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in nature. He especially loved hunting, fishing, and skiing. In addition, Bob was a dedicated beekeeper and took great pride in caring for his bees. He also enjoyed his Corvette. Above all else, Bob cherished his family—especially his grandchildren—and treasured every moment spent with them.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Kimberley (Quintin) Forziati; his two sons, Christopher Forziati and his wife Jenna, and Ryan Forziati and his wife Erin; five grandchildren; two siblings, Rick Forziati and Sue Kowalski; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Lynn Redman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Edward Church, 55 High Street, Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
