We have lived next door to Bob for 25 years and are very sorry our neighbor won't be here anymore. He used to bring me roses from his garden and we'd talk. He will be missed.

Bob, as he told me to call him, because I would call him Mr. Keirans, like I was taught to call adults. He will be missed very much. As he would always say hi to everyone in the neighborhood. It won't be the same in the summer when would have him come over for cookouts.
I will also remember him with a big smile 😀 and saying he can't wait for summer time.

So sad to hear about Bob Keirans' passing. I saw him two weeks ago at the gym and he looked great, talked fine and I thought he had more time. I worked with him on the Conservation Commission. He always did more than necessary; and he showed up to every workshop and meeting. He was a very pleasant man and as others described him "a perfect gentleman". He was a kind, considerate and positive. I loved laughing with him - he had such a twinkle in his eye. Such a shining star.
Bob will be sorely missed. He was such a great guy! Always had a smile on his face and interesting things to talk about.

Bob was a friendly and knowledgeable man. He always made time to chat whenever we met. He enjoyed life and genuinely cared about others. Rest in peace, Bob.

Many fond memories of Bob which started in 1958 when he was my section leader in the UConn marching band and continued through the years as we enjoyed Windjammer trips through the Caribbean and several cruises to South America and the Panama Canal. He has been a good and faithful friend for more than 60 years. My condolences to his family.
