Robert W. Mihancki's Obituary
Robert W. Mihancki, 77, of Somers, CT, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ashford, CT, son of the late William J. and Pauline (Ozut) Mihancki. He worked as a project manager for Siemens Power and served our country in the National Guard. Robert was a member of the Somers Congregational Church, the American Legion Post No. 101 of Somers, a life member of the West Stafford Fire Department, and he helped start Safe Net Ministries in Stafford. He enjoyed camping, spending time with his family and attending his grandson’s basketball and baseball games. He was an avid UConn Women’s Basketball fan. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia (Eldredge) Mihancki; two daughters, Kimberly Stone and her husband Donald, and Kerri Killoran and her husband Jeremy; five grandchildren, Jenna, Jessica, Madison, Zachary and Dylan; a sister, Janet Doiron and her husband Robert; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, William Mihancki. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. followed by a funeral home service at 2:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
