I was truly sorry to see of your loss. I, personally, have gained comfort, hope and encouragement from the following verses during times such as this: John 5:28,29--"Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Those who did good things to a resurrecton of life..." Isaiah 25:8--"He will actually swallow up death forever." Isaiah 33:24--"And no resident will say, 'I am sick'. The people dwelling in the land will be those pardoned for their error." Please know that God truly does care for bereaved ones and that your loved one is in his memory awaiting a resurrection where there will be no more suffering, pain, violence, sickness or death.
