Ronald Warren's Obituary
Ronald Earl Warren, 81, of Ashford, CT, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at home with his loving family at his side. He was born in Stamford, CT, son of the late Daniel H. and Georgia (Malcolm) Warren on April 3, 1930. Ronald was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 as a medical technician. He had worked at various places as a machinist retiring in 1992 from Purdy Corporation in Manchester, CT. He was an avid fan of the UConn Husky Women's Basketball team and he also liked to watch NASCAR racing and football. Ronald is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kay (Murray) Warren; his daughter, Barbara Ann Barber and her husband David of Manchester, CT; and his son, Daniel R. Warren and his wife Lisa of Hebron, CT. He also leaves two granddaughters, Shelby Lynn Warren and Tiffany Marie Warren of Hebron, CT whom he adored; several nieces and nephews; his cat and buddy, Rusty, who will miss him terribly; and his good friends at the Willington truck stop. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard H. Warren of East Hartford, CT; and a sister, Ruth (Warren) Foucher of Northborough, MA. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with military honors will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
