My heart goes out to Jim, Charlie, Lori, Dan, Tyler , Woody and the rest of the family. Ruth loved you all so very much. To see her face light up when she saw one of her sons, her daughter-in-law or her nephews was a lovely sight. She was one of the strongest women I've come to meet, and that, coupled with a heart of gold makes for many fond memories I will treasure forever. I will think of her fondly with love in my heart. My condolences to you on Mrs. Linsley's passing. I lived in McMahon Hall at UConn in the mid-70s and she was our dining hall director and much more to some of us. I had reason to interact with her often and she was like a second mom for those of us away from home. Some people thought she was gruff, but if you took the time to get to know her, she was very thoughtful and caring. She had a job to do and if you were helpful rather than a hindrance, she always noticed. She is a very positive remembrance from my college years.

JTL,Charlie and family...Ruth was a wonderful woman, loved by many and will be missed by all. My teen years, in particular, leave me with fond memories and a smile on my face as I recall them. She had a long, full and fulfilling life. She's at peace now and I know she's waited a long time to see Steve again. Love to you all.

I am writing for my mother in law Ruth Morey who was a long time girl friend from high school, college and throughout their lives. Ruth Morey is also 92 and sends her deepest sympathy. She will miss her friend.
