Heidi, So sorry for your loss, Prayers to you and your family.

My wife and I, former veterinary practice owners, never had the pleasure of meeting Scott. We knew of him only through stories of his accomplishments and successes in creating Fenton River. Our orbits were closest when he snagged (on more than one occasion) one of our own accomplished team members to come work at Fenton River.
In this day and age of “work-life harmony” prominence and corporate vet practice consolidation, Scott was very old school in his desire to create his Fenton River domain while raising a family. We old schoolers had to admire this young “gunner” in our backyard, recognizing how unique he was in the current veterinary clinical practice world.
It pains us to try to imagine the weight of his loss on his family, along with his friends and community. We are also saddened for the impact his passing will have for his staff, clients, and patients. Scott was clearly one of those impressive people who gave the veterinary profession a good name; he helped make every veterinarian look good. His loss is a loss for all of us.

Barbara, I am so sorry for the loss of your son. It seems so unfair that a life is taken so young in the prime of his life, I have memories of our days at West Stafford when you expressed such pride in your son Scott. He had such potential and he indeed reached it and more. Prayers for you and your family. Betty Kuester
So sorry for your personal loss and also the loss to us all. Scott will be missed by many . Scott k surdam .Rug Rat flooring solutions and Booth flooring .
I did not know Scott, but I know my daughter who was a classmate with Scott and loved him dearly. Many vets correspond with each other to talk about patients and I know my daughter talked with Scott through email a lot. What a great loss this is! I pray the family will find comfort in the Lord and in knowing we will meet again someday! From Kansas you’ll be in our prayers.
Best Coach ever!! I was so sad when I found out about his death, I hope he rests in peace. We will miss you Coach!
Barbara and family-I was so sad to hear of the tragic loss of your son Scott-I can see Jack's face in his photo. Although I've spent most of my life in California I never forgot Jack: his sense of humor and the profound kindness he showed to me and my family years ago, he was really a lovely person.
It seems that Scott was truly his father's son in all regards. What a tremendous loss of this extraordinary, irreplaceable human being whose passing has affected so many. Including the animals who will never experience his care. Even from 3000 miles away I can feel your family's loss and sadness.
I believe the departed spirits watch over those they loved on earth and hopefully you'll receive a sign of it one day.
Love, Sharon Kennedy
