You have been such a treasured and supportive friend, Sharon. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful you were to let me share in Hunter’s successes in the show ring. You were my patron with my portrait work and taught me all about Whippets in the “doing” of their sweet faces. Our special trips to the art competitions in New York City where the first Dallas and I played large on a national stage. And called me one day to invite me over to meet a sculptor of canines who was creating a Whippet piece and wanted your input and you thought I’d be interested to see too. And how we three became good friends . I can’t now imagine how I will stand not knowing I can pick up the phone to chat, or get together for a “cuppa” or show you my latest work. The only thought that may help me is imagining all the wonderful creatures crowding around on the orher side of the rainbow bridge to greet your happy, strong, energetic self that won’t ever be sick anymore. I will always love you, my sister friend.
