Sharon L. Marquis' Obituary
Sharon L. Marquis, 66, of Willington, CT, wife of the late Robert Marquis, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. She was born in Long Island, NY, daughter of Ruth (Jensen) Gilpin and the late Norman Gilpin. Sharon loved dogs, and centered her life around them as a kennel manager at Candlewick Kennels in Glastonbury, CT. She was also passionate about helping to protect eagles and their habitats, and helped by raising and donating funds to Eagle On Alliance. Sharon is survived by her two children, Jeneane MacNabb and Frank Zanin; grandchildren, Matthew MacNabb, Ember Hilton, Justin Ratcliffe, and Jayde Zanin; great grandchildren, Madison Hilton and Aubrey Hilton; siblings, Kathie Jensen and spouse Joyce, Julie Gilpin, Robert Gilpin and spouse Stacey, and Paul Gilpin; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Hunter, Kensey, Dallas, Georgia, Margo, and Bree.
