We send our sincerest condolences to Charlie, Susan and Nicole. Shirley was a wonderful lady and a wonderful volunteer. Always cheerful and compassionate, Shirley’s love for helping patients, families and staff in the Emergency Department was remarkable. Working very hard to help others came naturally to Shirley; she thrived on it. She loved the Emergency Department and was passionate about helping whenever she was needed, even a midnight shift now and then. We are very grateful that Shirley chose to spend nearly 9,000 hours helping us. Comments from the patients, hospital president, managers and staff were unanimous; Shirley was a wonderful volunteer. We will all miss her very, very much.

Words cannot Express my Heavy Heart and sadness that we have lost our Beautiful loving lady, Shirley. Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss and know that her Love lives on in all of us. So many memories to Cherish....Shirleys reflection will always be in the Emergency Room and we will look upon it as an inspiration to us all.
