Aunt Shirley was an amazing matriarch to her family. I remember being young and going on early morning "paper routes" with her and my Grandma (and realizing now) how much energy and passion she had for life, and her family. Her family was everything to her and it showed by the respect and love they showed (which she so richly deserved). She will be sadly missed but I will have the wonderful memories of a strong, vivacious woman that is the epitome of REAL family. Love you always!

Mema was truly a wonderful gramma. She taught me so many things about life and love. She taught me numerous skills like crocheting and quilting. She was not only my gramma, but also a wonderful friend. Mema always had good advice and stories to share and I loved every minute of the time I spent with her in the past 33 years. There are too many wonderful memories to share here, but I am grateful for all of them. I am so lucky to have shared my life with my Mema.
