Thomas R. Koplar, 66, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2017. He was born in Queens, NY, the youngest of ten children, to the late Ralph and Yolanda (Gotosa) Koplar. Tom served in the United S Read Obituary
I am a FedEx Engineer who worked with Tom the past 10 years. On January 28-29, 2016, Tom and I spent considerable time troubleshooting an issue that had bugged us past 24 hours. Though Tom lacked expertise in current technology, his past experience was a kind of base support to me, which helped us get through the problem then. He had a friendly smile and a very good attitude that made me respect him and like him tremendously. I was fortunate to talk to him just before Christmas and planned to see him whenever I visited Hartford Facility.
I thank God for the wonderful man he gave us, whom we all loved and now mourn but are happy that he is at peace in His kingdom.

Roberta,Ralph Joey I met Tom many years ago when the kids were young we hit it off an became good friends. then one day Ralph moved in across the street.We hit off an became good friends.Then one day I found out why we became such good friends he was Toms son..An old friendship rekindled though his son.I will think of him whenever we are together.May GOD be with you all Tam & MOE Santia
