I was a customer of Vickie's for the last 7 years. While I will miss her delicious food, that is nothing compared to losing her wonderful personality, her caring and kindness, and the fun conversations I always looked forward to. The UConn community has lost a rare and special person who made everyone's day better.
I send my most sincere condolences to Vickie's family. While I cannot begin to fathom your pain in losing such a wonderful woman, I can extend my sympathy and let you know that I will always remember the sparkle in Vickie's eye and her unyielding kindness. My thoughts go out to you all.

Vickie is sorely going to be missed. The woman that she helped out of the car accident was the fiance to one of the School of Business's Ph.D. student. She would always ask how the young lady was doing. Vickie also catered my wedding over 33 years ago with her father. Life is so fragile and having Vickie pass so suddenly only confirms the frailty of life. I will keep all her family in my prayers as they mourn her loss.
Vicki was always such a joy. We looked forward to seeing her smiling face coming into our branch everyweek. She is someone who will be sorely missed.
