Vickie Howlett's Obituary
Vickie Lee Howlett, 58, of Middle Turnpike, Storrs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 17, 2010. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of Dorothy (Farra) Howlett and the late John E. Howlett. Vickie was the owner/operator of Vickie’s Lunch Truck and Catering Service located on the University of Connecticut campus for 31 ½ years. She was also a member of Reddington Rock Riding Horse Club. Vickie is survived by her mother, Dorothy Howlett of Willington, CT; five siblings, John F. Howlett and his wife Lynn of Willington, CT, David R. Howlett M.D. and his wife Cathy of Windsor, CT, Steven D. Howlett and his girlfriend Candice Furnace of Staffordville, CT, Sally A. Palko and her boyfriend Rudy Hollay of Staffordville, CT, and Bonny L. Herindeen and her husband Donn of Willington, CT; nine nephews; three nieces; five great nephews; five great nieces; an uncle and aunt, Alphonse and Evelyn Giglio; and two cousins, Amanda and Rob. She was predeceased by a brother, Timothy N. Howlett. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 11 A.M. at the Federated Church of Willington, Rte. 32, Willington, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
