Walter H. Missett's Obituary
Walter H. Missett, 92, formerly of Springfield, MA, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at North Georgia Assisted Living. He was born in Holyoke, MA, son of the late Victor W. Missett and Florence L. (Washington) Holland. Walter served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, and worked as a lithographer for Rich Lithographing. He was a lifelong member of the Springfield Elks Lodge and the John Boyle O’Reilly Club. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Lorraine T. (Remillard) Missett; two daughters, Patricia A. Connors and her husband Brian, and Gail M. Butterfield; eight grandchildren, Cara Shannon Jalbert and her husband Gregory, Lorrin M. Zarlenga, Alessandra L. Introvigne and her husband Michael, Ryan P. Connors, Justin M. Connors and his wife Becky, Kate A. Deske and her husband Ryan, Zachary E. Connors, and Seth C. Connors; and three great grandchildren, Michael J. Introvigne, Jr., Giuliana M. Introvigne, and Lillian H. Connors. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his infant daughter, Lori Anne Missett; and step father, James Holland. Per his request, there will be no funeral services.
