Wilbur Walker's Obituary
Wilbur R. "Wil" Walker, 83, of Rockville, CT and formerly of Staffordville, CT, passed away on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Rockville General Hospital, Rockville, CT. He was the owner/operator of the former Wil's Pizza and Coffee Shop in Stafford Springs, CT and retired as a cook from Rein's Deli in Vernon, CT. Wil was a member of the Staffordville Congregational Church where he was a deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. He was also a Master in the Grange and an active Boy Scout leader where he was a member of the Order of the Arrow. Wil is survived by his three daughters, Angela M. Breault and her husband Andre of Manchester, CT, Lisa A. Fox of Staffordville, CT, and Jevan C. Klein and her husband Ken of Enfield, CT; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his best friend and companion, Gloria A. Walker of South Windsor, CT; a sister-in-law, Irene Gibbons of Rhode Island; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Melanie N. Bacchiochi; a brother, Charles; and a sister, Isabel. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT, will be held privately in the spring. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
