William "Snake" Hoering's Obituary
William W. "Snake" Hoering, 72, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Shelly A. Vogel, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rockville, CT, son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Wilson) Hoering. Billy was a U.S. Navy veteran, and worked as body shop manager at Backus Motors for many years. He was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, and the Italian Benefit Society. He is survived by his son, Hans Hoering; sister, Marilyn McCann; two nephews, Bruce and Todd McCann; and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Thomas McCann. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Willington Hill Cemetery, Rte. 74, Willington, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shelly A.
