William E. Spellman's Obituary
William E. Spellman, 53, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Everett and Janet (McGowan) Spellman. Bill worked as a machine operator at American Woolen Company. He had many interests and was a true “Jack of all trades”. He could fix a car or build a house. No project was too big or small. He always was devoted to a task and made sure it was completed; painting and timber framing were just a couple of his many interests. He was truly one of the strongest and most caring people you would ever meet. He grew up in this small town but made a huge positive impact on many people's lives. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Heather (Addicott) Spellman; three children, Maria, Ian, and William Spellman; his siblings, Stephen Spellman and his wife Barbara, Beth Neurath and her husband Jeffrey, and Jane Baker and her husband David; several extended family members; and many loving friends. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
